Celebrities are always finding themselves in and out of trouble. Sometimes, these people just have to discover out the hard way. This list of celebrities who were arrested in previous year ranges from movie stars to music icons, so expect a diverse batch of criminal celebs.

So as long as celebrities are getting themselves arrested for one thing or another, including for probation violations, this article brings you all the dirty details of their wicked behaviour.

Here are the popular celebrities who have been or are currently on trial, and the even unluckier ones who’ve violated them

10. Nouman Raja-

Nouman Raja, Palm Beach Officer, shot a black drummer Corey Jones in October 2015. He was arrested and charged with homicide and fatal shooting of Jones. He was in civil dress and never introduced himself as one when he cruelly shot Jones on a highway. The office has now been reserved on house arrest from 3rd June 2016. The 31year old drummer Jones, is said to have been waiting for a truck to tow his broken car post midnight when the cop shot him on the highway.

Separatist Hurriyat Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Ali Geelani has been under house arrest since 2010 as well as of Hurriyat leaders have been unlawfully put at house arrest for protesting against the setting up of Sainik and Pandit colonies and industrial policies. The govt. has been constantly putting many objectors to house arrest for such uprisings. He was charged in 2010 under “sections 124A (sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between classes), 153B (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration), and 505 (false statement, the report circulated with intent to cause rebellion against public peace… to be read with Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act of 1967”.

8. Bassam-al Safadi-

Bassam-al Safadi is an Israeli journalist, working in Iranian TV, was arrested on the charges of assumed incitement and for supporting terror groups based on his statements on his facebook page. The reporter for the al-Alam news network, he has been supported by the network who have claimed that he hadn’t published or reported anything showing support to terrorist activities. He has put under house arrest earlier June for publishing statements in support of terror groups and incitement to violence and terror. He still remains in house arrest till further investigations and court’s further orders.

7. Mehdi Karroubi-

An Iranian reformist and politician, Mehdi Karroubi, who even contested for presidential elections in 2005 and 2009, has remained under house arrest since 5 years by now when he came forward to prove the fraud and misuse of power by one. He is known as Iranian Green Movement, an opposition movement, leader along with Mir-Hossein Mousavi.

6. Bhai Dhian Singh Mand-

Jathedaar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Bhai Dhian Singh Mand was arrested the next day of this announcement in late 2015 to keep him away from addressing the Sikh Sangat from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Bhai Dhian Singh has recently been brought out of prison and has been kept under house arrest from this June 2016 onwards till next trial. Along with him, some 30 other activists were arrested too.

South African Paralympic champion and sprint runner, Oscar Pistorius was convicted of first-degree murder when he had shot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in 2013 to death. Pistorius was charged with homicide and kept imprisoned till he appealed Supreme Court. He has been suspended from participating in any event. He is considered to be the fastest man on Earth with no legs.

51-year-old, an Iranian film director and editor Jafar Panahi, became famous with his feature film debut, “The White Balloon”, which won the 1995 Cannes Film Festival Award. Because of his conflicting content with respect to the then government and 2009 presidential election, he was arrested before being placed under house arrest and has been banned for 20 years from making any movies.

A nuclear physicist and metallurgical engineer of Pakistan Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was the man behind the foundation of uranium enrichment program for atomic bomb project of Pakistan. He has been put under House arrest since 2004 by General Pervez Musharraf, though his house arrest has turned out to be not that strict with the passing years as he still continues to move around, make calls and have visitors.

Mill is an American hip hop recording artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Meek Mill is the stage name of Robert Rihmeek Williams. He was put on a 90-day house arrest this year for violating the terms of his parole in a 2009 drug and gun case.

1. Mir-Hossein Mousavi-

Mir-Hossein Mousavi

An Iranian politician, an artist and an architect Mir Hossein Mousavi, was the last Prime Minister of Iran from 1981-89. He stood as a candidate for Presidential election in 2009 but amidst the political unrest, he stood up as the leader and founder of Green Movement which fought against the illegal methods and practices adopted by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to win the Presidential election that every year. His campaign turned him down to be posed with house arrest.
